Weekly Tasks
Power Oil Task
The brand task was all about promoting heart health and wellness. Power Oil used the task to highlight its new partnership with the Kanu Heart Foundation and their ‘Together We Can Save a Heart’ initiative. The task had three parts, and housemates were split into three teams. In the first part, called Power Tussle, teams answered five questions about Nigerian food and heart health. They had 60 seconds to answer, with one team member writing down the answers. The questions were about Nigerian party dishes, festive snacks, foods that go well with plantain, and heart diseases in Nigeria. The second part tested their knowledge of healthy Nigerian meals. Teams had to match food items like flour and milk with the correct meals in 10 seconds. Each correct answer earned five points. In the final part, teams arranged Power Oil bottles to match a hidden pattern. Each team picked two members: one to blow up a balloon and the other to arrange the bottles. The team that matched the pattern correctly won points.
Team Heart, which included Chekas (Onyeka and Chizoba), Radicals (Mickey and Fairme), and Shatoria (Shaun and Victoria), won the task. Biggie also announced that TJay from the Beta pair had welcomed twin babies.
Supa Komando Task
Energy drink brand Supa Komando turned the Big Brother Naija house into a military training ground for a challenge called ‘Big Energy.’ The task had two parts. First, housemates worked in pairs and shared stories about times they showed strength and resilience. In the second part, they did tough physical activities like crawling through tires and climbing steps and ladders to ring a bell as fast as they could. Shatoria and Radicals made it to the final game, a maze challenge where they had to move a ball through a maze to reach the exit. Shatoria was named the toughest Supa Komando Contender of the season.
