Over the weekend, a cryptic Instagram story from Zinoleesky, a black-screen post, and a later-deleted message that fans read as a criticism of how some artists are treated, sparked widespread rumours that he was leaving Naira Marley’s Marlian Records.

Within hours, the singer moved to calm nerves: he deleted the worrying story, posted clearer messages denying any split, and made public reassurances of loyalty to the camp. Several outlets reported that Zinoleesky explicitly quashed claims that he had left Marlian Music.

The rumours gained extra traction because they came on the anniversary of Mohbad’s death, a sensitive moment that made fans quicker to read grievance into any cryptic post. But later posts and screenshots showed Zinoleesky reaffirming his position, which helped douse the panic.

Sam Larry, a prominent Marlian associate who’s often involved when the label’s internal news trends, also moved to shut the story down publicly, calling the exit talk false and reacting dismissively to the speculation.

At the time of writing, there’s been no formal press release from Marlian Records itself; instead, this was handled through Zinoleesky’s social posts and reactions from people close to the label. Fans appear reassured for now, but the episode is a reminder that cryptic social-media posts can spark big headlines overnight.

Zinoleesky and Sam Larry have both publicly debunked the “leaving Marlian” story. For now, the singer remains part of the Marlian fold, and the louder messages are coming from social posts, not an official label split.
