Fifty candles. Half a century. And yet, Innocent Ujah Idibia, better known around the world as 2Baba, carries 50 like a badge of honour, not a burden. Today, as he marks his 50th birthday, his wife, Natasha Osawaru-Idibia, has given us one of those tributes that make you smile, nod, and say:
“Yes, that’s exactly who he is.”
Natasha, the lawmaker from Edo State, didn’t hold back. In her birthday message she said:
“Happy birthday to the love of my life. You are 50!!!!!! Oh wow!!!!!! You spaced me with 20 years, and you look younger than I do. How ironic.”
That line alone captures so much, the love, the admiration, the playful awe. She goes on about how waking up beside him every morning is one of life’s greatest gifts, how this past year has been the best of her life, how her joy is “complete with you in it.”
