Univision is officially back on YouTube TV after nearly two months of absence, thanks to a fresh agreement between YouTube and TelevisaUnivision that expands their partnership even further. The new deal doesn’t just restore channels, it also opens the door for YouTube’s Primetime Channels business to debut in Mexico.
With the renewed partnership, TelevisaUnivision’s lineup, including Univision, UNIMAS, TUDN and Galavisión, is returning immediately to YouTube TV’s base package as well as its Spanish-language offerings. This means subscribers once again have access to major Spanish-language entertainment, sports and news across the platform.
A major highlight of the agreement is the addition of ViX to YouTube’s Primetime Channels in both the U.S. and Mexico. This marks the first time the streaming service will be available via Primetime Channels in Mexico, signaling YouTube’s growing interest in expanding localized premium content.
The reinstated channels and the rollout of ViX underscore a strengthened relationship between the companies, one that aims to give millions of Spanish-speaking viewers easier access to the content they love across borders and platforms.
