Meta and Ray-Ban Launch Smart Glasses with Built-In Display

Meta and Ray-Ban have unveiled the Meta Ray-Ban Display, stylish smart glasses that seamlessly blend everyday fashion with futuristic technology. The standout feature is a colour display inside the right lens, giving users quick access to messages, maps, translations, and more without pulling out a phone.
The glasses pair with the new Meta Neural Band, a wristband that senses tiny muscle movements, allowing wearers to control the display with simple finger gestures. They also include a 12-megapixel camera, speakers, microphones, and Meta’s AI assistant for hands-free calls, photos, and real-time captions.
Battery life lasts approximately six hours per charge, with a case that extends usage to around 30 hours. Designed in classic Ray-Ban styles, including Transitions lenses, they look more like sunglasses than gadgets.
At $799, they’re an investment, and privacy questions around cameras remain. But for anyone seeking a sleek, practical step into wearable tech, the Meta Ray-Ban Display shows how glasses are becoming smarter and more useful for everyday life.
