Old Trafford isn’t the only place where drama follows Manchester United around, Craven Cottage played host to yet another episode in the Red Devils’ unpredictable season. A game that promised goals and tension delivered both, ending in a 1–1 draw that left fans of both sides with mixed emotions.

Bruno’s costly miss
Manchester United had the perfect chance to take control of the match when Bruno Fernandes stepped up to the spot. The Portuguese maestro, usually so assured, saw his penalty go above the crossbar, and the miss would come back to haunt Amorim’s men. A squandered opportunity, and a reminder that United’s biggest enemy this season might just be themselves.

Muniz’s unfortunate touch
For a brief moment, it looked like United’s luck was turning when Fulham forward Rodrigo Muniz, in the wrong place at the wrong time, bundled the ball into his own net from a United’s corner kick. United fans roared, but as the saying goes, “never celebrate too early.” The advantage was fragile, and Fulham were far from done.

Fulham’s super subs shine
Marco Silva turned to his bench for inspiration, and boy did it work. Emile Smith Rowe came on and changed the game’s tempo, pulling strings in midfield and finding the all-important equalizer. His impact reminded everyone that sometimes the smartest move is sitting right there among the substitutes.

In the end, both teams walked away with a point, but the narratives couldn’t be more different: United rue missed chances, while Fulham will feel their fighting spirit and squad depth are finally starting to show.
