Jay-Z Unveils Roc Nation’s New Distribution Company

Jay-Z’s Roc Nation has officially launched its rebranded distribution company, and it’s a major win for independent artists everywhere. By merging Roc Nation Label with its Equity Distribution arm, the company has created Roc Nation Distribution, a streamlined, artist-first powerhouse designed to give creatives real control over their music.
At the center of this rollout is a new cutting-edge dashboard that offers real-time analytics, automated payments, social media insights, and global distribution to over 200 platforms. Artists keep ownership of their masters and take home 85% of their earnings, with zero upfront or subscription fees. It’s freedom, backed by one of the most influential brands in music.
Roc Nation says the mission is simple, give artists big-league tools without the traditional label restrictions. And the impact is already global, Nigerian rapper Oba Lurge just became the first African artist signed under the new distribution system, marking a huge moment for the continent.
