At just 21, Mavo is doing what normally takes years: turning viral singles into mainstream clout and landing features with Africa’s biggest names. What started with buzz-worthy tracks like Escaladizzy has quickly snowballed. He followed that with Shakabulizzy, and this year he’s been tapped by heavyweights Wizkid, Davido, and CKay for high-profile collabs and remixes.

Escaladizzy introduced listeners to Mavo’s flair for slippery hooks and anthemic choruses, a song that’s already enjoyed serious streaming traction since its June release.
He then amplified that momentum with Shakabulizzy, which became one of the year’s most talked-about singles and even spawned a remix that features Davido, a rare and fast-tracked stamp of approval for an artist so new to the spotlight.

Beyond remixes, Mavo’s versatility is turning heads: his feature on CKay’s single “BODY (danz)” put him alongside one of Afrobeats’ most international names, and industry press has been quick to note how the collaborations feel less like one-off boosts and more like recognition of an artist who already sounds like a star.

What sets Mavo apart isn’t just fast-moving features, it’s consistency. He’s built a weighty catalogue and maintained a steady release schedule, turning curiosity into credibility and viral moments into a clear career trajectory. If the last few months are any indication, Mavo’s not just riding the wave — he’s shaping it.
