Popular Nigerian entertainer DJ Chicken, whose real name is Ademola Abiodun, was reportedly involved in a road accident over the weekend in Sagamu, Ogun State, that quickly turned chaotic. According to eyewitness reports, the street DJ accidentally hit a woman who was on a motorcycle, sparking outrage among bystanders.

Videos circulating online show DJ Chicken’s car at the scene, with residents rushing to the aid of the injured woman. The situation escalated when angry bystanders descended on the DJ, beating him before others intervened to calm the crowd. DJ Chicken was seen in the footage with bruises, pleading for help as the mob grew more aggressive.

The woman and the motorcycle rider were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, though their current condition remains unknown. DJ Chicken, on the other hand, has not issued an official statement about the incident, but short clips shared on social media show him admitting to being shaken by the experience.

This is not the first time the controversial entertainer has made headlines for off-stage incidents, but this particular case has once again raised conversations about reckless driving and mob justice in Nigeria. While many have expressed relief that no lives were lost, others have criticized the crowd’s violent reaction, calling for calm and due process in such situations.

For now, DJ Chicken is reportedly recovering from the assault, while authorities are yet to release an official report on the accident or possible legal actions.
