Looks like musical talent really does run in the Balogun family, and Wizkid couldn’t be prouder. His 14-year-old son, Boluwatife Balogun, known to fans as Champz, is already making serious waves with his debut project, Champion’s Arrival.

Released on November 11, 2025, the five-track EP has quickly climbed to No. 1 on Nigerian charts, racking up over a million streams. The project blends smooth Afrobeats rhythms with thoughtful lyrics that feel way beyond Champz’s years, all backed by fresh, young Nigerian producers who are equally hungry for greatness.

In a recent viral courtside interview, Wizkid couldn’t hide his excitement, proudly saying, “We love Champz’ new EP, you know, he’s, my kid.”

Fans are already calling Champz “a star in the making,” praising his flow, confidence, and musical maturity. And if this debut is anything to go by, the young Balogun might not just be walking in Wizkid’s footsteps, he’s already carving out his own lane.
