Nigerian Afrobeats sensation, Kizz Daniel, has spoken out following the chaos that erupted during his Paris concert on November 10, 2025, where fans were left frustrated after waiting hours for his appearance. The event, which quickly spiraled into a social media storm, saw the singer facing criticism for reportedly showing up nearly five hours late.

In a series of Instagram stories, Kizz Daniel set the record straight, explaining that the delay was due to a fallout between the tour agent, Olamide Baron, and the show promoter, rather than negligence on his part. According to him, he had been fully paid by Olamide Baron to perform, but the show was later sold to another promoter who allegedly breached their agreement by failing to pay the remaining balance.

Kizz Daniel revealed that the internal dispute between the parties caused a last-minute travel hitch, preventing his timely arrival in Paris. “I’ve been ready since 6am for a 12:25pm flight,” he wrote, adding that the delay came when his agent held off their departure to retrieve outstanding payments from the promoter, a situation Kizz claimed he was unaware of until much later.

The singer also noted that despite efforts to resolve the issue and catch the next available flight, the earliest option was for 5:25pm, which further pushed back his arrival time.

This clarification comes amid growing chatter online, as critics referenced his past lateness controversies. However, supporters have rallied around him, noting his intense European tour schedule and his evident effort to show up despite the behind-the-scenes chaos.
