Sunday night’s BBNaija eviction show had all the ingredients of prime-time chaos, tears, twists, and television gold. Ebuka Obi-Uchendu set the tone the moment he walked on stage in a burnt-orange suit with leopard-print flair and bold sunglasses, serving full-on RMD energy. And just like his regal look suggested, the host came bearing heavy decrees. By the end of the night, three housemates, Big Soso, Ivatar, and Doris, were gone, leaving the house shaken and the game reset with only 19 still standing.

The night kicked off with the shock eviction of Big Soso, a housemate who has been nothing short of explosive all season. From her messy fall-out with Tracy to the infamous fishpond drama with Dede, and that heated “Barbie” showdown with Faith, Soso was never far from the spotlight. But as fans have learned, noise doesn’t always equal votes. Just like that, one of the most talked-about voices of the season was silenced.

Next came Ivatar’s eviction, a bitterly ironic twist. Only last week, she was the centre of attention after her on-stage clash with Mensan. Fast-forward seven days, and she found herself exiting under the same spotlight. “Every day felt like a curveball,” she told Ebuka, visibly stunned. “I thought I understood the game, but I really didn’t.” Her words summed up what every evicted housemate eventually realizes: BBNaija is an entirely different beast when you’re inside those walls.

Then came the heartbreak of the night, Doris was evicted, cutting short her budding romance with Denari. Their bond had become one of the show’s most stable love stories, and her sudden exit left fans reeling. Their last embrace was brief but gut-wrenching, as Denari clung to her in disbelief. On stage, Doris struggled to hide her frustration: “I gave so much in that house,” she said, hinting at resentment toward housemates she felt did less but still survived. For their fans, it wasn’t just Doris leaving, it was the end of a ship.

But amidst all the heartbreak, there was a silver lining. Kaybobo, the self-appointed commander of the kitchen, finally received the recognition he’s been craving. Named Most Influential Player of the Week, he secured not only bragging rights but also immunity. After weeks of grumbling about seasoning, portion sizes, and plate allocations, the validation was sweet. Love him or roll your eyes at him, Kaybobo is untouchable this week.

As BBNaija Season 10 marches into its second half, the message is clear, the dynamics have shifted. With three housemates gone, a fan-favourite ship wrecked, and a kitchen king crowned, the game just got hotter.
